To assist you in planning and conducting your group tour, we offer a variety of services to make the job of the planner much easier and the outcome of your tour more successful. Unless otherwise noted, these services are provided free of charge.

The Greater Parkersburg CVB and Marietta, Washington County CVB represent the entire Mid-Ohio Valley area from various business interests to all segments of the hospitality industry. Our experienced and knowledgeable staff is ready to offer personal and professional attention to all your group tour needs.

• Suggested Itineraries - our staffs will prepare suggested itineraries based on your requests and the interests of your customers.

• Itinerary Development & Confirmation - using your selection of activities and other details, our staffs will prepare an itinerary for your tour and then after you approval confirm the details with local suppliers.

• Special Programs & Events -we can suggest and help make arrangements for special programs and activities to make your tour even more special and unique.

• Suppliers - our staffs can provide the names of local businesses and organizations that can accommodate group tours or provide services your tour may require.

• Hotel/Motel Listings - the Bureaus maintain a listing of most area lodging facilities with or without rate information to assist you in making your lodging decisions.

• Restaurant Listing & Tour Menus - our staffs can provide a listing and/or sample of group tour menus from local restaurants and caterers to help you in making your dining choices.

• Local Street Maps & Directions - the Bureaus have maps of major local streets and highways as well as driving directions available to assist your escort and/or driver.

• Favors & Gifts - our staffs can suggest items produced or available locally for use as favors or gifts for your entire group, our speakers or other individuals. Some items may involve a cost.

• Promotion & Publicity - Every tour planner wants to achieve maximum participation for his or her tour. We can help make this happen by providing the following promotional materials and information:

• Photography & Images - we can provide a variety of promotional brochures and black and white photographs, 35mm slides or scanned images saved on CDs for your publications or other use.

• Descriptive Copy - Descriptive copy is available for all attractions, events, restaurants and lodging facilities to include your itinerary write ups. If you are in need of a tour service that is not listed, please let us know. Whenever possible, our staff will be happy to help you by providing other special services or assistance or direct you to someone who can.
